The Black Dog Lunker Punker is a larger cigar shaped top water bait that creates the “Walk the Dog” action that drives fish crazy. Just one twitch of the rod causes this bait to glide a foot or more to one side and a second twitch sends the bait gliding in the other direction, mimicking a large bait fish on the surface. The Lunker Punker can be fish multiple ways, it can be fished fast with short twitches causing a very tight “S” pattern, it can be worked slowly creating a very wide slithering pattern, you can also dead stick the bait or a combination of all three. The above retrieves are not only deadly on big bass but also work great for stripers.
The bait is available in two sizes, The 9” Lunker Punker and the 6.5” Punker Jr. and both are available in two great fish catching colors Rainbow Trout and Delta Shiner.
